Joseph Quartman

Joseph Quartman, son of H. H. and Mary A. Quartman, was born September 28,1831, and learned the blacksmith business. In 1854 he married Mary A., daughter of John Wesling and his wife Elizabeth. Mary A. was born November 1, 1834. He has filled the office of township trustee. James Quartman enlisted in 1862 in Company C, and discharged in 1865; and Bernard Drees in 1863 in the 118th O. V. I., Company E, and discharged in 1865.
