Isaac Powell

Isaac Powell, son of Peter and Elizabeth Powell, was born February, 1829, in Holland, and raised a farmer, and afterwards hotel-keeper. In 1860 he married Mary E., daughter of John and Mary Q. Stern. She was born May, 1842. Their children are John, Benjamin, Anne, Margaret, and Julia. Benard Powell served in the 58th Ohio Volunteers, and died at Mt. City General Hospital. Julian Powell served in the 58th Ohio Volunteers, and died in the hospital in Arkansas. Isaac Powell owns 108 acres of land.
