Philip Montanus

Philip Montanus was born in Baden July 18, 1818, came to America in 1854, and the following year to Sidney. Here he opened a grocery store, which he conducted one year, when he went into the saloon business, in which he was engaged a number of years. He married Elizabeth Wal, April 7, 1842, and has four children.
