John M. Lenox

John M. Lenox, son of John and Hettie Lenox, was born in Auglaize County, Ohio, May 25, 1850. He was reared on a farm, and has made farming his vocation. March 31, 1872, he married Miss Kate Ryan, of Auglaize County, daughter of James and Julian Ryan, where she was born August 3, 1855. In the fall of 1876 Mr. and Mrs. Lenox came to Shelby County, purchased, and moved on the farm in section 25, Turtle Creek Township, where they now reside. They have two children, Flora J. and William B.
