Bernard Friemerring

Bernard Friemerring, son of Frank and Catharine Friemerring, was born December 8, 1831, and raised a farmer. October 13, 1854, he married Mary, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Powels, who was born in 1835. Their children are Frederick, Bernard, Joseph, Henry, and Elizabeth. He has filled the ofllces of school director and supervisor. Bernard Powels and Jerry Powels enlisted in the 58th Regiment (Company A) Ohio Volunteers.
