William Donelly


William Donelly, a farmer residing near Kettlerville, was born in Ireland in 1823. In 1861 he came to this township and located in section 2, where he lived three years, then moved to McLean Township, but nine years later returned to Van Buren, where he now owns 130 acres of land in sections 12 and 13. In 1853 he married Ellen, daughter of Patrick and Ellen Hoys, of Bellevue, Ohio. She was born in Ireland in 1827. They have reared two children, named Alice J. Hickey, residing in Newark, Ohio, and Thomas Donelly, of this county.
