Isaac C. Dorsey

Isaac C. Dorsey, son of the above [John Dorsey], was born in Green Township, Shelby County, Ohio, July 17, 1833. On the 2d day of May, 1858, he married Miss Isabella, daughter of Jacob Evelsisor, of Champaign County. They settled on a part of his father’s home farm, where they have since resided. They have a family of eight children, six sons and two daughters. He has filled the office of trustee for Green Township about twelve years; also acted as township assessor one year.
