Frederick Billing

Frederick Billing was born in Baden, Germany, in the year 1828, came to the United States in the year 1853, and first located in Fairfield County, Ohio. In 1856 he married Sarah Knasle. They moved to Shelby County in 1857, and rented land for a number of years. In 1863 he bought a piece of land; had only three hundred dollars to pay on it: he now has 160 acres of good land, well improved. They have raised a family of eight children.
