David Brelsford

David Brelsford was born in Miami County, Ohio, January 24, 1835. He came to Shelby County in 1861, and made his home with Jeremiah Layman, of Orange Township, two years, Aug. 18, 1863. He married Mrs. Aimée H. Silver, née Layman, daughter of Jeremiah and Mary Layman, born in Hamilton County, Ohio, Dec. 1, 1831, who came to Shelby County with her parents in 1839 and located in Orange Township. Mr. and Mrs. Brelsford settled in Green Township on a part of the south half of section 23, where they are now residing. They have a family of five children, four sons and one daughter.
