Elizabeth Ruhl
Mrs. Elizabeth Ruhl, widow of George Ruhl, was born in Maryland. With her husband she emigrated to Perry township, Richland County, in the year 1812, where she resided till the year 1868; then she emigrated to Holt County, Missouri, where she resides at present, and is the oldest lady in that county. She is now in her 97th. year -- is the mother of 17 children, 85 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, making in the aggregate 190, all of whom are living except 22. Her health at this writing is very good. There is no doubt but she may reach one hundred years. She has been blind 17 years.
