W. A. McIntire


W.A. McIntire was born in Bellville, Feb. 7, 1860. His father was drowned April 10, of the same year, and he, being the only child, was for years the sole support for his widowed mother. In 1883, he removed to Plymouth, this county, where he established himself in the cigar business, in which place he still resides. He has always been an active business man, an esteemed and respected citizen, and a staunch Democrat, uniting in his efforts to further the interests of his party. Has twice been elected constable, and has been deputy sheriff in the northern part of the county for nearly five years.
