George John Heitzman

George John Heitzman has served in three wars -- the Seminole War in Florida, the Mexican War and the war of the rebellion. He was born in France, Feb. 28, 1821; came to America in 1833. Before attaining his majority he enlisted in the regular army (7th. Regiment) and served under General Taylor in the Seminole War in Florida.
