Mat Day

Mat Day, formerly of this city and now a cadet at West Point Military School, ranked in examinations as number 62 in a class of 75 persons. Thirteen degrees lower would have placed him at the wrong end of the class.

In our notice of Mat Day, cadet at West Point, we did him injustice by inference. There were 126 in his class and he stood in the upper half.
