L. S. Donnell
Some time during the latter part of next week I.S. Donnell will be taken to the penitentiary to begin his sentence of five years for forgery. No attempt will be made to get a stay of execution although the case is to be carried up. Attorney A.A. Douglass stated this morning that the case would be carried up but that he did not know whether it would be to the circuit court or direct to the supreme court. Mr. Douglass stated today that Mr. Donnell would begin the serving of his sentence pending the review of his case in a higher court. Mr. Donnell still maintains his calm demeanor and does not talk about his troubles.
