Lynn Hawkins


Lynn Hawkins, farmer, P. O. Hudson, Summit County, was born in Streetsboro. this county, November 3, 1843; and is a son of Jesse G. and Sally (Hubbell) Hawkins, who were the parents of eight children: Mary, wife of Z. Snow; Delia, wife of A. S. Cannon: Lewis; Lucy, wife of G. N. Wheeler; Louisa (deceased); Crayton; Lynn and Lillie, latter the wife of Sebastian Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse G. Hawkins settled in 1840 on the farm now occupied by our subject, part of which they cleared and improved, and where they lived and died, the father in 1850, at the age of sixty, and the mother in 1877, aged seventy-five years. Our subject was reared on the old homestead, where he now resides, and was married March 11, 1873, to Addie, daughter of Orris and Sally (Blair) Leach, of Twinsburg, by whom he had one child—Guy (deceased). Mr. Hawkins is an enterprising, public-spirited citizen; in politics he is a Democrat.
