Jacob Grenamyer


Jacob Grenamyer, farmer, P. O. Edinburgh, born in Trumbull County, Ohio, November 18, 1835, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Grenamyer, both natives of Pennsylvania. They were married in Columbiana County, Ohio, where they first settled; thence they moved to Trumbull County, and there remained until their death, she dying in 1868, and he June 16, 1877. Our subject was married, May 1, 1858, to Maria A. Kump, born in Trumbull County, Ohio, March 13, 1838, daughter of Daniel and Mary Kump, natives of Pennsylvania, who immigrated to Trumbull Comity, Ohio, and are both living. Mr. and Mrs. Grenamyer have had two children: Mary A., born August 7, 1860, and Edward O., born March 24, 1862. Mrs. Grenamyer died January 14, 1883. She was a loving wife and kind mother; a consistent member of the Congregational Church, of which the rest of the family are also members. Mr. Grenamyer, who is a farmer, owns nice property in Edinburg Township. He has been a member of the I. O. O. F. for over twenty- five years. The family moved to Edinburg in March, 1880.
