J. S. Recob, D.D.S.
The subject of this sketch is a native of the county, and has lived here all of his life. His early education was obtained in the public schools. He attended Lebanon College, taking bookkeeping and teachers' courses, and afterwards taught school, but eventually decided upon the profession of dentistry as his life work. He entered the Ohio Dental College, graduating with honor in 1896. He immediately began practice, opening an office here and subsequently buying the office formerly owned by John S. Chance, located over the post office.
He has occupied these rooms nearly four years, and they are modern, up-to-date dental parlors, equipped with all of the latest and most approved dental paraphernalia. Doctor Recob enjoys a large practice and his skill as a dentist is very high. There is no branch of the art he does not thoroughly understand, or practice.
He is interested in the affairs of the city, has served on the school board, and is prominent in the political and social life. He is now serving as a member of the Board of Deputy State Supervisors of Madison county. He is an Odd Fellow, and enjoys the confidence of a wide circle of friends and patrons. He is married and with his wife and daughter, resides on Maple street.
