N. M. Huber


N. M. Huber, farmer, P.O. Plain City. The subject of this sketch was born in Hocking County, Ohio, June 23, 1840; he is a son of Joseph and Mary (Cost) Huber, who emigrated to Ohio in 1842. Our subject is a farmer by occupation, at which he has been very successful, now owning 240 acres of land four and one half miles south of Plain City. In politics, he is a Republican; he has served as School Director in his township. He was married, December 8, 1877, to Alice (Gladden) Atkinson, widow of James Atkinson, daughter of Amos and Eliza (Barbon) Gladden. She has one child by her first husband, viz., Nellie, born February 2, 1872.
