F. L. Fitzgerald


Is the son of W. H. Fitzgerald, and was born near his present handsome residence about a mile west of Big Plain on the London and Circleville pike, February 27, 1858. His early education was obtained in the public schools, attended Columbus Medical two years, then entered Ohio Medical, graduating in 1884, with degree of Doctor of Medicine. Located in Big Plain and practiced for seven years, then took the regular course in Belleview Medical, New York, graduating therefrom in 1891. Doctor Fitzgerald moved to Derby, Pickaway county, and there practiced till 1907, when he leased his large farm there, and returned to the home of his youth. Here he has just completed the building of one of the handsomest houses in the county. In 1884, he was married to Miss Belle Warner, of Madison county. Three children, one girl and two boys have blessed the union. Doctor Fitzgerald has retired from the active practice of his profession, and now devotes himself to farming.
