W. H. Christopher, M.D.
Prominent among the physicians of London is Doctor W. H. Christopher. He came here in 1895, having previously been in practice in South Bend, Ind., and in Van Wert. He began his college career in the Northern Ohio University, and graduated with the degree of Doctor of Medicine from Starling Medical College in 1879, and then took a post graduate course in the New York Polyclinic in 1884.
He has built up a large and lucrative practice since coming to Madison county. His popularity increases as the years go by. As a citizen he has taken great interest in the town affairs. He has served as health officer, has served with distinction on the school board, having been its president, secretary and treasurer. He is medical examiner for many prominent life insurance companies. He is a member of the Madison County Medical Society, having served as its president. Is also member of the State Medical and National American Medical Societies, and has an enthusiastic interest in his profession and all that pertains thereto.
He is a delegate of the Auxiliary Committee of the State Medical Society on Public Policy and Legislation. He has served as president of the London Club, and made an ideal officer.
Doctor Christopher is prominent in fraternal orders, being a 32d degree Mason, and a K.P. He enjoys the esteem of all who know him as physician or friend.
