Dr. Fredrich Reese

Dr. FREDRICH REESE, a very leaned man in (1825), was the first German Catholic priest Cincinnati, later was bishop of Detroit; he was the founder of the Scientific School and of the Athenæum—the nucleus from which sprang St. Xavier College.
