John Sherrick
John Sherrick was born in Pennsylvania, Oct. 18, 1814. His parents, Jacob and Catharine Sherrick, died in Fairfield County. He married Matilda J. Neeley, daughter of James and Rachel Neeley. She was born Nov. 17, 1814, in Fairfield County, where her parents died. They have two children living--Jacob L. Sherrick and Margaret A., wife of Wm. Johnston, of this county. A daughter, Elizabeth, died in Fairfield County in 1841; and their son, James N., died in Allen County in 1865. The names of Mr. Sherrick's brothers and sisters are Andrew, Mary, George W., Christopher, Jacob, Levi, Catharine, Henry, Matilda and William. Mrs. Sherrick's brother and sisters are William T., Edward B., Elizabeth, James, Margaret, David, Ellen, Isabella, Clarissa and Sarah.
