Henry Sprinkel
Henry Sprinkel was born in Pennsylvania, in the year 1825, and came to this county in 1857. His parents, John and Barbara Sprinkel, never resided in Allen County. They had seven children--Maria, Henry, Peter, William, Catharine, Mary and Margaret. Mrs. S. was born in Perry County, in the year 1830. Her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Madding, never removed to this county. Their children are Mary, Elizabeth, Leah, Hannah and Phoebe (Mrs. Sprinkel). The children of Henry and Phoebe Sprinkel--Mary E., Margaret, Jacob, Peter, Ella, Addie and Clara. Mary is the wife of Henry King, of Hardin County. Margaret was married to Harem Smith, and lives in this township.
