Andrew Stemen

Andrew Stemen was born in Fairfield County, December 31, 1825, and came to this county with his parents in 1838. His wife was born in Fairfield County May 20, 1827. Andrew is a son of Peter and Mary Stemen, who had six children--Andrew, Benjamin, Magdalina, Elizabeth, Isaac and Christian. Mrs. S. is a daughter of Jacob and Rachel Lakemiller, who came from Fairfield County in 1830, and whose children are John, Andrew, Jacob, Elizabeth, Daniel, Benjamin, Jane, Rebecca and Sampson.
