Daniel Rowlands
Daniel Rowlands was born in South Wales, Feb. 4, 1837. His parents are Rowland Rowlands and Elizabeth J Rowlands. He has one brother, John, and two sisters, Mary A. and Elizabeth. In the year 1858 the family settled in Allen County. His wife is Elizabeth Ann, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth J. Hanthorn, who came from Perry County in 1829. Mrs. Rowlands was born in this county, Feb. 19, 1842. Her brothers and sisters are Viella B., Thomas S., Francis E., George L., Sarah A. and Howard. Wm. Colvin is her half-brother. Mr. Rowlands' children are John W., Rowland E., Cora E. and Alfred D. Rowlands.
