Ross Crossly
Ross Crossly was born in this state, December 23, 1818. His wife, Phoebe, was born in Clermont County, August 29, 1827. They have ten children--Lavina (wife of Robert Hill), Elizabeth Ann (wife of Joseph Tapscot), William Henry (married Rose A. Murray), Isaiah S., Cloyd J., Miner C., Viola L., Elmer E., Arminta, and Eddy E. Mr. Crossly's parents, Joseph and Mary, came to Allen County in 1837. Their children are Elizabeth, Julia A., Huldah, Reynolds, Ross and James. Mrs. Crossly is a daughter of Henry and Joan Apple, and sister of Henry.
