John Sherman

John Sherman, son of William and Elizabeth Sherman, was born Sept. 19, 1827. They came to this county in 1836. He was raised a farmer. In 1852 he married Dinna, daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Barhorst. She was born in 1836. Their children are, Hosea, Louisa, Bernard, Joseph, Annie, Sophie, Mary, Catharine, Dinna, and Johannie. Has been supervisor and township trustee.
