Frank H. Lemon

Frank H. Lemon, well known to Mansfield people, brother of ex-Marshal Henry W. Lemon, is to be deputy warden of the federal prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. The St. Paul Pioneer Press, of Aug. 19, says: Frank H. Lemon, of this city, yesterday afternoon received the news that he had been appointed deputy warden of the government prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. Maj. R.W. McClaughry, a prison man of many years' experience, is warden of the Leavenworth prison, having taken charge of affairs there July 1. Soon after coming there he decided that it would be necessary for the best interests of the prison to get a new deputy warden and he wrote a letter to Warden Wolfer, of this city, asking him to recommend a good prison man if he knew one.
