Cloyd Hout

All that was saved when the country home of Cloyd Hout burned Sunday were three chairs and two rolls of butter.

Mr. and Mrs. Hout who live about four miles out on the Ashland road, were away from home Sunday when their house caught fire. It was noticed by two neighbors, Lorenzo and Benton Hout about 12 o'clock. They immediately gave the alarm and ran to the burning house just in time to get out three chairs and two rolls of butter. It is not known how the house caught fire. It was protected by insurance.
