Jesse Cox


Jesse Cox is a native of West Virginia. He came to this county in 1863. In 1841 he commenced the study of his profession, and he has practiced the same for nineteen years in the city of Ironton. Dr. Cox has been a thorough student, and in theory and practice is abundantly qualified to do all work entrusted to him in a manner denoting a master of his profession. He is considered a gentleman of ability by the public, and justly so. Mr. Cox was married to Sarah A. Garrett, daughter of Thomas I. and Nancy Garrett. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Cox are: William, born in 1847; George in 1849; Charles in 1851; Henry in 1855; Nannie in 1857; Frank in 1859. They reside in different parts of the State. William and Sarah Cox are the parents of Jesse Cox. Mrs. Cox was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. The politics of Mr. Cox are republican, and in religion he is a liberal. Mr. Cox's office is located at the corner of Third and Centre streets, Ironton, Ohio, where he should be addressed.
