E. E. Martin

E. E. Martin, who has been in the general contracting business at Steubenville, O., for about eight years and also deals in real estate, was born in Meigs County, Ohio, in 1862. The parents of Mr. Martin moved to Gallia County in his youth and there he attended school and later learned the carpenter's trade. For a number of years he worked as a carpenter and joiner and then went to Columbus and it was in that city that he completed his first contract. Seven years later he came to Steubenville and, nothwithstanding much competition in this line, he has done an excellent business. He is a member of the Carpenters' and Joiners' Association, of America. In December, 1905, Mr. Martin was married to Miss Alice Longbutton, of Wheeling, W. Va. Mr. and Mrs. Martin are members of the First Methodist Episcopal Church at Steubenville.
