Milton W. Bowdel
Milton W. Bowdel married Letitia, daughter of Andrew and Sarah McCoy, who came from Virginia in 1833. Mr. Bowdel was born in Ross County, January 10, 1818. His wife was born in Virginia, January 5, 1827. Their children are Elisha T., Mary M. (wife of W. H. Hover, of this township), Loretta B., Charles W. (died in infancy), and Matilda E. (who died at the age of twelve). Mr. B. is the son of Joseph and Lucretia Bowdel, whose children were named, James B., Jessie L., Milton W., Annie C., and William B. Mrs. Bowdel's brothers and sisters are David, Elisha, Moses, Mary, Elizabeth, Miriam and Jane.
